STORING AND CONSUMING YOUR LEVAIN PRODUCTS
STORAGE DURATIONS
All our products are free from preservatives and must therefore be stored properly to retain its flavour and to extend its shelf life.
Below are our guidelines for storage. We recommend portioning breads in sealed bags and storing based on how long you intend to keep them for.
HOW TO ENJOY YOUR LEVAIN PRODUCT
Sourdough
Defrost the bread prior to warming, if required.
Sprinkle or spray water on the exposed crumb.
Place slices of sourdoughs into a 200°C pre-heated oven for 2-3 minutes or until the crust is crisp.
French Bread/Italian Bread
Toast desired amount of bread in 200°C pre-heated oven for 4 minutes or until the crust is crisp.
Pastries
Toast pastry in 200°C pre-heated oven for 4 minutes or until the surface is crisp.
Pan Breads
Defrost the bread prior to warming, if required.
Sprinkle or spray water on the exposed crumb.
Place slices of bread into a 200°C pre-heated oven for 2-3 minutes or a toaster.
Soft breads/Yeasted Cakes
Place bread in 200°C pre-heated oven for at least 6 minutes to ensure that its centre is warmed.
Canelé
Eat immediately on day of purchase
Mixed Nut Rod
Eat immediately if possible. Toast in 200°C pre-heated oven for 3 minutes or until the rod is crisp.
Soft Cookies
Warm cookie in 200°C pre-heated oven for 2 minutes.
